Letter to the Editor: Support Domestic Violence Victims
Address the Issues Below the Surface

Dear Editor,

Good Samaritan Hospital is encouraging people to wear purple to support Domestic Violence victims. Wearing purple is nice, but more helpful is addressing the issues below the surface. Domestic Violence is an addiction to another person at a psyche level. When only the symptoms of a malady are changed, it is superficial. What motivates the behavior of this disease from a deeper level than the conscious behavior is necessary.

Since like attracts like, a new partner is found to again recreate the same drama. Therefore, both people need to heal their own hidden emotional wounds. Without addressing the subconscious pain of each person it recreates over and over until lovingly resolved at the root cause. Then new results will manifest in their lives from a new healthy foundation.

My experience in healing the source of my domestic violence has brought me a life of love, happiness, and respect I only dreamed about. I now receive unconditional love because we are both healthy, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. There is hope.
